Dreamy Downtown Modern

Location, location, location! This remodel project is located in the historic district of downtown Durango.

The home was originally built in the early 1900's and was just shy of 900 sq. ft. The vision for the homeowners, an vibrant young couple, was to keep what we possibly could and extend upwards. The original foundation was used, and the original windows and hardwood flooring were also kept. They added an upstairs level to expanded square footage. Today, the home is beautifully remodeled and functional for a young growing family. Clean lines and finishes draw to the appeal of this small town mountain home. Using herringbone patterns for the flooring, hexagon tile and penny rounds combined with warm colors and textures showcase a modern style.
